Finger Lakes Wine Festival
Touted as The Best of New York’s Wine Country the Finger Lakes Wine Festival is one of the largest showcases of New York wines. Visitors can taste over 500 wines from 80 wineries. Live cooking demos culinary classes, educational seminars, live music and gourmet foods will all be available along with arts and crafts and a variety of vendors at this 3 day event, July 18th-20th.
The festival will be held at Watkins Glen International Raceway grounds. Tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted price until June 27, 2008, or on the dates of the festival. For more information go to the site below.
Alba Vineyard
11th Annual Summerfest Fireworks

Held at Alba Vineyard, sponsored by PNC Bank. The festival features something for the entire familyincluding fireworks by Garden State Fireworks – three-time world champion pyrotechnic artists, food vendors, children’s activities, crafts and live music. Back by popular demand, the featured band Cairo, will begin playing at 5:00 p.m.
Admission is $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for children six to 12, and free for children five and under. Parking is free. Alba’s award-winning wines will be available for purchase. Food will also be available for purchase, or festival goers are welcome to bring a picnic basket.
Be sure to come early to enjoy the festivities. This popular event is a sellout every year. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket.

2008 Sonoma Wine Country Weekend
